All EVSC Student Google Accounts now have a limited storage capacity of 15GB in total for their Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos. All files created and uploaded to their accounts now count towards their account quota.
If students are over their quota, they will not be able to do the following tasks until adequate free space has been restored:
- upload new files or images to Google Drive.
- back up any photos and videos to Google Photos.
- send and receive email in Gmail can be impacted.
- receive or submit assignments in Google Classroom that contain attachments.
- create new files in collaborative content creation apps like Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings, and Forms. Until storage usage has been reduced, nobody can edit or copy affected files.
- can’t back up new Recorder files.
- NOTE: They can still sign into and access their Google Account.
